Warranty Policy

Please check all packages within fifteen (15) days for receipt to ensure they are correct, complete, and cosmetically sound. Missing or damaged items cannot be repaired or replaced after fifteen (15) business days of receipt.

Warranty Terms


Matrix Orbital will repair or replace any display it manufactures, whether is is sold directly or through an authorized distributor. The terms of this warranty are as follows:

  • Intelligent Display, GTT, HTT, EVE2 and External (ELK/EGLK) series: One (1) year warranty from the date of purchase.
  • Economy Display Series: Six (6) month warranty from the date of purchase.
  • Parallel Display Series: Six (6) month warranty from the date of purchase.

*Returns of "No-Fault" units will be subject to shop and labour costs of $60USD/hr

Warranty will be void under the following circumstances:

  • Incorrect power application.
  • Damage to the screen face, such as fracturing or scratching.
  • Alteration to the PCB, such as drilling, soldering, or coating.
  • Modification of the bezel casing, such as the application of adhesive or paint.
  • Disassembly of the product in any way.

Obtaining an RMA

All merchandise returned to Matrix Orbital must be accompanied by an RMA number and documentation. The original purchase invoice must be included with a return, whether from Matrix Orbital or a distributor. All directions in the RMA documentation must be followed or an RMA shipment may be returned at the customers expense. Parts returned without and RMA number can be rejected. Once an RMA number is issued, it is valid for thirty (30) days only. Should parts not be returned within this time a new RMA request must be made to return any units still under warranty.

RMA Shipping

Care should be taken to ensure that returned items are not damaged on their way back to Matrix orbital. RMA returns must be sent back in an anti-static bag and must have sufficient packaging to protect the display. Any and all cables must be sent back with the display. Matrix Orbital cannot be held responsible for any damages that are incurred during the shipping of returns.

Matrix Orbital shipping accounts must not be used without explicit instruction and permission. International ground shipments are not accepted due to associated brokerage fees. Failure to follow shipping instructions provided will result in additional charges. Matrix Orbital will not be responsible for any taxes, duties, or fees applied to shipments.

Repair

Matrix Orbital can accept displays that are no longer covered under warranty for repair. The customer will have to pay for shipping in both directions as well as the cost of parts and labour. A quote can only be provided once a display is received and analyzed. Once payment is made and return shipping arranged, the product will be returned.

Replacement/Repaired parts will carry a ninety (90) days limited warranty from the date of shipment from the factory or Authorized Distributor.

Refund

All orders are non-cancellable and non-refundable.

In the rare case that Matrix Orbital grants permission for a return and refund, the product returned must be in full working order and production identical. All refunds are subject to a 30% administration fee for processing and restocking.

Shipping charges from the original purchase cannot be refunded. The unit purchase price less all fees will be credited to the account or credit card used to make the original purchase. If an alternative method of refund is required, the customer will be responsible for all fees associated.

Replacement

Should a display be deemed unrepairable, it may be replaced. Matrix Orbital does not cross ship.

Shipping Policy

  • Matrix Orbital Corp ships DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) to the United States when using the Matrix Orbital shipping account.
  • Matrix Orbital Corp is not, and will not be, responsible for any import taxes, duties, or fees applied to the following:
    • orders shipped outside of the United States
    • orders shipped using the customers shipping account

(Please seek import tax rate information from the local government authority)

  • Matrix Orbital Corp offers shipping via UPS and FedEx only
  • Matrix Orbital Corp cannot ship to PO or Overseas Military boxes
  • Matrix Orbital Corp will only ship to billing and shipping addresses within the same country 
  • Matrix Orbital Corp will only ship when payment confirmation, which can take up to 2 days, is received 
  • Matrix Orbital Corp does not include insurance in shipping costs
  • Matrix Orbital Corp is not responsible for any damages incurred during transit
  • Matrix Orbital Corp cannot provide guarantees or refunds with regards to arrival dates
  • Matrix Orbital Corp ships all orders in BULK packaging

Customers, who have issues with these terms, are encouraged to purchase from a distributor in their area. Upon customers request, our distributors will procure parts, including non-stocked, to satisfy an order.

 Customer Shipping Account:

If a customer wishes to use their own shipping account, they must complete and submit the Account Authorization Form located on the shipping page during the checkout process. Please note: This must be received and approved BEFORE submitting your order. If the order is processed prior to approval, the shipping charges will not be refunded.

 Shipping to Quebec:

Due to the Quebec French Language Charter legal restrictions, we are unable to ship to Quebec for resale and personal use. However, if you’re buying this product for commercial use in an OEM application please contact Sales for buying options.

Liability of Matrix Orbital

Matrix Orbital is limited to the replacement or repair of any defective items not including those listed under the void conditions. Matrix Orbital will not be held responsible for any successive or ensuing events in relation to which the product is used.

Matrix Orbital displays are not made for use in life support products, appliances, systems, or devices, which, if a malfunction occurs, could cause, or result in, personal injury or death. Matrix Orbital Corporation customers who decide to sell, or use, these displays for such instances do so at their own risk. By doing so, the party, and represented company, agree to indemnify Matrix Orbital Corporation for any resulting damages.

You hereby indemnify to the fullest extent Matrix Orbital Corp from and against any and/or all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages and expenses arising in any way related to your breach of any of the provisions of these Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid under any applicable law, such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.

Variation of Terms

Matrix Orbital Corp is permitted to revise these Terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using this Website you are expected to review these Terms on a regular basis.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Matrix Orbital Corp and you in relation to your use of this Website, and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the province of Alberta Canada, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in city of Calgary in Alberta, Canada for the resolution of any disputes.
